The Contech Scarecrow effectively and humanely deters animals from disturbing ponds and gardens. When the motion detector sees an intruder it instantly directs a startling blast of water toward the target. Animals quickly vacate the area and avoid it in the future. Useful against herons, raccoons, dogs, cats, rabbits, deer, large birds, and more. Connects to a standard garden hose. Uses 2-3 cups of water per deterrence. Operates up to 1,000 times on two 9-volt batteries. One ScareCrow covers approximately 1,200 sq. ft. Can also be linked to other ScareCrows to form an effective water barrier.
